There are a few estate planning tools that can provide management of assets you give to minors:

§ Special Needs Trust: This tool allows you to give assets to a trust for the benefit of a disabled minor in a manner that will not affect the minor's right to receive government benefits. The trust may be managed by you, a professional trustee or a trusted friend.
